{"id":279,"date":"2020-01-23T11:30:15","date_gmt":"2020-01-23T02:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/en\/?p=279"},"modified":"2020-04-11T02:56:49","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T17:56:49","slug":"%e6%b5%85%e8%8d%89%e5%9c%b0%e4%b8%8b%e8%a1%97","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/en\/?p=279","title":{"rendered":"Underground city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<hr>\n\n\n<p>This\ntime I\u2019m came to the first time to Asakusa Underground Shopping Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\nis in a good location just below Tobu Asakusa Station (underground), but&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Somehow\nthe entrance is retro and suspicious&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-490\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"> Once inside I can feel how particular this place is \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-491\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">The Asakusa underground mall was open in 1955. The sign in the image has written: \u201c50 years since its opening\u201d and that sign has been there for about 15 years, so, the total of years since its opening is 65 years Wow! This is one of the oldest underground shopping centers in Japan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-492\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When\nyou go down to the basement, it is a retro space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\nare izakaya (Japanese bars) and standing buckwheat noodle shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actually,\nI love Japanese retro style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-493\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\nbecame a fun and interesting plan that I had not imagined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>there\nwas a vending machine that I had never seen before, selling insects to eat &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\nmust try it, but maybe in the next time &gt;&lt;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-494\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Nearby there is a shop that offers delicious and cheap &#8220;Teppanyaki soba&#8221;. What a price 350 yen! (at the time of this report)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sunroute-asakusa.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/chikagai6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-495\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The few recent style izakaya (?)
