This\ntime I\u2019m came to the first time to Asakusa Underground Shopping Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\nis in a good location just below Tobu Asakusa Station (underground), but…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somehow\nthe entrance is retro and suspicious…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once inside I can feel how particular this place is \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Asakusa underground mall was open in 1955. The sign in the image has written: \u201c50 years since its opening\u201d and that sign has been there for about 15 years, so, the total of years since its opening is 65 years Wow! This is one of the oldest underground shopping centers in Japan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\nyou go down to the basement, it is a retro space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\nare izakaya (Japanese bars) and standing buckwheat noodle shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually,\nI love Japanese retro style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\nbecame a fun and interesting plan that I had not imagined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

there\nwas a vending machine that I had never seen before, selling insects to eat …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\nmust try it, but maybe in the next time ><<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearby there is a shop that offers delicious and cheap “Teppanyaki soba”. What a price 350 yen! (at the time of this report)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The few recent style izakaya (?) Are also a\nbit weird but not in a bad way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for example, the bartender in this izakaya is a ninja …(We couldn’t take him a picture)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the wall is full of sake bottles, it\u2019s\nfunny!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people suddenly pass through the underground shopping mall.
This is because the underground shopping mall connects with Asakusa Station on the Ginza Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
