TORI TEMPLE Rooster’s day fair

This time I came to the Rooster’s day fair at Asakusa (Asakuasa Tori-no-ichi) this is a festival that the Japanese people celebrate in a big event two or three times in the year on November, the dates changes depends on the china’scalendar, this year, the Rooster’s day was on november 8th and 20th and I did come on 8th.

Many people come to pray for good looks, prosperity and good business, there are also many employees of neighboring companies that come to pray too.
We also came to pray for our company with my colleagues and the president of our company.

There is a very long line before the entrance, by the way, we had to wait about an hour to see the entrance, I am so excited to enter at the temple!

I can finally see the precinct in the back ground, there are many people and I can’t walk!!

This is one of the special things that you can see on Tori no Ichi (Rooster’s day fair) this is a “Bamboo Rake for good luck”. A highly decorated bamboo rake is very popular as goods to bring happiness and prosperity in business.

This was my first time in this kind of fairs, there was too much
people and I couldn’t walk very well, but there was a great experience to me to know more about the Japanese culture.
